Day-01:
Meet on arrival at Dhaka airport. Transfer to the hotel. Depend on your arrival;
if time permits we shall offer you some city sightseeing activities at this
day.
Day-02:
After breakfast at 08:00hrs accompanied guide will show you the Star Mosque,
Sadarghat River Terminal, Ahsan Manjil, Lalbag Fort, Dhakeshwari Temple in Old
Dhaka. Also we shall arrange a short river cruise by country boat on the Buriganga
near Shadarghat what is really interesting. After lunch visit Central Martyr's
Memorial, Curzon Hall, Supreme Court, National Mosque, National Museum and Parliament
House in new Dhaka.
Famous Dhakaya Biriani will be offered for lunch at a restaurant in old Dhaka;
around 18:30hrs we shall drop you at your hotel.
Day-03:
After breakfast at 8:00 am you will start for Chittagong by reserved car / bus.
On the way you will visit Sonargaon, to explore the old capital of Bengal at
Sultanate period (11th to 16th Century). Here also you will visit GOALDI mosque
of early16th century, Famous PANAM City of 13th to 19th century and a folk museum.
Start again and visit "War Cemetery" in Comilla, where you can see
the graveyard of the soldiers who died in the Burma front during the Second
World War at nearby Comilla.
After lunch you will explore Mainamoti, archaeological ruins dating back to
7th-12th century. Here you will visit Salban Vihara, Kutila Mura, Ananda Vihara,
Charpatra Mura, Itakhola Mura, Salban Vihara museum etc.
After visit these archeological sites continue to Chittagong; at evening arrive
in Chittagong. Check in to the hotel.
Day-04:
Breakfast and start the drive at 7am to Bandarban (approx 2 hours 15 minutes).
After finishing some government formalities (required for foreigners entering
Bandarban) visit Dhatu Zadi (Golden Temple); then a tribal village, hike down
to the River Shangu, and visit Shailapropat (cold water spring) near BOWM tribal
village, tribal handicrafts.
Lunch at Parjaton Motel Restaurant or at a local restaurant in Bandarban. Overnight
at Parjatan Motel or best local hotel or in some hill resort.
Note: We shall try our best to show you maximum ethnic people’s life style
at this day. Please don’t photograph of ethnic people without asking them.
Day-05:
Breakfast and start the drive at 7:30 am to Cox’s Bazaar (approx 2 hours).
Check in to the hotel. You will be free on the Cox’s Bazaar, the World
longest sea beach till Sun set. At evening; visit Burmese or Rakhain Tribal
Market. Dinner at a local restaurant.
Day-06:
After breakfast visit Morning Fish Market, Buddhist Temples in Cox’s Bazaar
town. Drive to Himchori and Inani beach. After lunch drive back to Cox’s
Bazaar, way back visit Buddhist temples in Ramu
Day-07:
After breakfast drive back to Chittagong. Check in the hotel. At after noon
visit Ethnological Museum, Baijit Bostami St.’s Shrine, Port area and
walk / Rickshaw ride to the old city and few markets. At evening you can pass
your lazy time on Patenga Beach.
Day-08:
Drive to Srimongal; on the way visit Ship-breaking yards (External view). Lunch
at a high way restaurant in Feny or Comilla. Arrive in Srimongal at around 17:00
(depending on traffic). We will arrange your accommodation at hotel or some
resort.
Day-09:
During the morning hours of this day, you will visit the Lawacharra rain forest
what is small in size but a rich reserve of many rare species. With a bit of
luck, you should be able to see some species of primates and a few rare birds.
It is an ideal place for nature lovers and photographers, Butter Fly collectors.
Next you will visit the Khashia tribal village which is close.
After lunch you will visit tea plantations, rubber gardens, pineapple cultivation
and markets. Also we shall try to show you a tea processing factory if that
is on operation on this day. We shall offer you very special a cup of 7 color
tea.
Day-10:
At this morning visit Monipuri tribal village and tea workers daily life. Also
visit the Madhabpur Lake. After an early lunch drive to Mymensing. Overnight
at Mymensing.
Day-11:
Drive for Bogra. On the way visit Muktagacha Jaminder Place, ethnic families
in Madhupur, Sharee weaving hand loom factory. Lunch at highway restaurant in
Sirajgonj. Continue drive to Bogra. Check in to the hotel.
After refreshment drive 13 km. to Mahasthangarh, to visit the remnants of the
oldest ever (at least the 3rd century BC) known city of the region. Visit the
enclosure of the city and adjacent museum, Govinda Vita, Lakshindar’s
Medh.
We also stop at a village market. Back to the hotel in Bogra for overnight.
Day-12:
After breakfast drive to Naogaon to visit Paharpur Buddhist Monastery. It is
the largest single Vihara at the south of Himalaya; also the world heritage
site is an extra ordinary structure of 7- 8 century and the finest symbol of
Buddhist civilization of ancient Bengal.
After lunch in Jaypurhat Continue drive, approximate 2 hours to Dinajpur. Check
in the Parjatan Motel.
Day-13:
Breakfast at 08:00. This morning we visit the most ornate terracotta Kantanagar
Temple what is very special one; 20 km from Dinajpur town.
Afterwards, drive to Rajshahi. On the way to Rrajshahi visit hili land port
and the boundary of Bangladesh and India. Lunch at local Restaurant in Jaypurhat
with various Bangladeshi dishes.
Continue drive to Rajshahi; on the way visit Kusumba Mosque (16th century) in
Manda, Naogoan. Check in to the hotel in Rajshahi.
Day-14:
Early morning enjoy the sunrise from bank of the River Padma (this is the Bangladesh
part of the Ganges River) also take a boat cruise there if possible. Return
to the hotel for breakfast.
Visit the Varendra Research Museum and one silk processing factory before lunch.
After lunch, next we drive 30 km to visit Puthia (city of temples) King's Palace,
Jamindar’s Admin and Tax Office, terracotta ornate nine Hindu temples
of16th to 19th century.
Day-15:
Morning drive to Bagha to visit the famous Bagha Mosque. After the visit, drive
south to Khulna. This would be a journey of about 6 hours. Overnight in Khulna.
Day-16:
In the early morning we transfer you to Rupsha Ghat where we board our boat
and immediately start cruising towards Sundarban (the world heritage site and
home of the Bengal Tiger). Breakfast will be served on board.
At Daingmari Forest station we have to stop for half an hour to pay fees and
collect permits. Then start cruising inside the forest. On this day you will
visit Habaria and Shupati areas of Sundarban. We have a walk inside the jungle,
where you may see the foot marks of the Bengal Tiger. Deer can take leaves from
your hands; lazy Crocodiles will lie on the shore. Also you will see Gangetic
(from Ganges River) Dolphins, several birds and many other wildlife. In evening
we will anchor at in front of Katka forest station.
Day-17:
From early morning to sunset several jungle activities are offered. Early morning
go into the narrow creeks by a small boat to have a close look at the plants,
birds and wildlife. Walk inside the forest; discover the flora and fauna of
Sundarban. Enjoy a view of the jungle from watch tower. There is a possibility
to see Tiger also. In addition, you have an option to go to the nearby beach
to walk jog, swim. After lunch cruise to Kochikhali (TIGER POINT). Till sunset
we shall explore this area.
Day-18:
Early morning activities as previous day. Then return journey to Khulna. On
the way back visit Karamjol area of Sunderban the crocodile breading center
and much more. We shall reach in Khulna at around 19:00. After dinner you will
transfer to a hotel in Khulna.
Day-19:
After breakfast drive to Bagerhat to visit the 60 Domes Mosque (another World
Heritage site), Museum and Shrine of Khan Zahan Ali. Also visit a nearby village
to observe the village life and Fish / Prawn cultivation. After lunch in a local
restaurant drive to Morelgonj. Here you board on “Hpstpric Rocket Paddle
Steamer for back to Dhaka. We shall arrange your sharing 1st class cabin for
overnight stay. Enjoy the riverine beauty.
Day-20:
Arrive in Dhaka at morning. Check in to the hotel. If you have flight at this
afternoon or in evening we shall arrange your transfer to airport as per your
flight schedule. If time permits we can offer you some activities in Dhaka including
visit some souvenir shops if you want
Or, you have flight at next day; check in to the hotel in Dhaka. Activities
in Dhaka.
Day-21:
Depend on your flight schedule we shall arrange you airport transfer Extra cost
will be added for hotel and airport transfer.
Sundarban Cruise Boats:
Sundarban Cruise Boats have double engines, standby generator and upper deck
dining room furnished with modern logistics. The bathrooms are shared, all are
western-style. The boats are operated with all the required permits and safety
regulations. Rustic clean facilities and serve as accommodation to visit this
special area.
